Bubble Bumble

Play as Kiwi, a small yet mighty bumblebee in Bubble Bumble! This little bee doesn't let anything stop her from finding the best flowers. Not being the smallest in her hive, living with a broken stinger, and definitely not getting trapped in a Super Bubble 3000! 

Kiwi needs your help to get through the Aviator Birds, collect flowers, and get home to her hive safely!

GOAL

Your goal is to collect flowers and gain points! Kiwi's hive isn't too far away, but watch out for the Aviator Birds! They'll shoot you down with their seeds and pop your bubble. And you know that birds *gulp* eat bugs!

INSTALL 

For MAC - The files will be titled "Bubble Bumble Game Installer.dmg"

1. Open the dmg file, and click the installer. 
2. There will be a "Bubble Bumble" game application.
3. In the installer, drag the game to your "Applications" folder.
4. Double click the game application to play

Trouble Shooting for MAC: If you can't open the game, make sure in the Security and Privacy settings under System Preferences, make sure you have allow apps from the "App Store and identified developers" This will allow you to download my game from itch io!

For Windows - The file will be titled "Bubble Bumble.zip"

1. Click and open the zip file.
2. Un-zipped, there is a file titled "Bubble Bumble.exe". This is the game file!
3. Double click the game application to play!

 HOW TO PLAY

Use the W,S,A, and D keys or the UP, DOWN, LEFT, and RIGHT arrows on your keyboard to move Kiwi. 

• TIP - Kiwi can move diagonally.
• Go to MAIN MENU - To instantly go back to the main menu, click the "Menu" button or press "M" on your keyboard.
• Go to PAUSE GAME MENU - To pause the game, press the ESC (escape) key. 
• How to QUIT the game  – Clicking the “Quit” button or pressing "Q" on your keyboard will instantly close the game application. 

KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS

*Please read! This is my first game, and it has its bugs!*

• Glitchy Cutscene and Pause: The "Pause Menu" does not work during the two cutscenes, and the cutscenes themselves tend to freeze and skip frames.
  
• No Save Function: Pressing "Menu" or "Quit" will reset the game and your points back to the start.
• Highscore: You only see your high score if you see the "Game Over!" screen. It resets after each play.
